  • This page is here to walk you through the details so your experience feels effortless from start to finish. From what to expect during your session to how your images are delivered, you’ll find answers to the most commonly asked questions below. If anything isn’t covered, I’m always just a message away.

  • Getting started is simple. Reach out through text or a call— 972-342-0706 — I’ll walk you through the next steps and answer any questions along the way.

  • Neutral, soft tones photograph best and help keep the focus on connection rather than clothing. Creams, beiges, soft grays, muted pastels, and earthy tones are always a great choice. Lighter colors help brighten photos. I also offer a curated client closet with timeless dresses available for mothers to wear. You’re welcome to browse my gallery, send screenshots of any dresses you love, and I’ll take care of the rest.

  • Clients are invited to choose from my curated client closet by browsing my gallery and sharing screenshots of their selected dresses. Your chosen pieces will be brought to your session for a seamless experience, or you may arrange to try them on in advance and return them following your session.

  • Yes, every step of the way. I’ll gently guide you into natural, flattering positions and provide direction while still allowing space for organic moments to unfold. You don’t need to worry about what to do; I’ve got you covered.

  • I recommend booking as early as possible, especially for newborn and First 48 sessions, as availability is limited. Many clients book during their second trimester to ensure a spot on my calendar.

  • Life with children can be unpredictable, and I completely understand. If illness or an unexpected situation comes up, please reach out as soon as possible and we’ll find the next available date that works best for everyone.

  • Yes. I believe photographs are meant to be printed and enjoyed for generations. I offer a selection of professional prints and heirloom-quality artwork designed to elevate your images and preserve your memories beyond the screen. I’m always happy to guide you in choosing pieces that fit your home beautifully.

  • You’ll receive a beautifully curated online gallery where you can view, download, and select your images. Galleries are delivered within the timeframe outlined in your contract, which is 2-3 weeks. If you would like to order prints, contact me and I will walk you through the steps and they will be mailed to your home.

  • First 48 sessions are scheduled based on your estimated due date. Once your baby arrives, you’ll notify me, and we’ll confirm the exact timing for your hospital session within the first 24–48 hours after birth.

  • Newborn sessions are reserved using your due date as a placeholder and then we will book about 10 days after the predicted due date. After your baby arrives, you’ll reach out within the first 48 hours, and we’ll finalize your session date during the ideal newborn window.

  • Absolutely. Pets are part of the family and are always welcome when appropriate for the session location. I recommend bringing someone along who can help care for your dog when they’re not being photographed.

  • You really don’t need much think simple + cozy photographs best!
Here’s an easy, no-stress checklist:

    For Baby:

    • One neutral outfit or sleeper (solid colors photograph best: white, cream, beige, soft gray, blue, pink)

    • Swaddle/ blanket you love (optional — hospital ones are totally fine too but I love to put one down as a base in the bassinet)

    • Pacifier (even if baby doesn’t usually use one, it can help soothe quickly)

    For Parents:

    • Neutral, comfy clothing

    • Mom: robe, soft sweater, or neutral top

    • Dad: neutral tee, henley, or button-up

    • Avoid logos, bright colors, and busy patterns

    • Light makeup / brushed hair if that makes you feel good, nothing fancy

    For Siblings (if included):

    • Simple, neutral outfits

    • A small snack for right after photos

    Extras (Totally Optional):

    • Name sign, announcement card, or hospital hat

    • Special heirloom (blanket from grandma, etc.)

    What Not to Stress About:

    • Perfect timing — I’ll work around feeds + diaper changes

    • Hospital clutter — I gently move things as needed

    • Baby being sleepy or awake — both are beautiful

    • Nurses coming in for vitals — I will step out and be out of the way

  • Please don’t worry, this is completely normal. Sessions are baby-led and unrushed, allowing plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and comforting. Some of the most beautiful images come from these quiet, in-between moments.
